The roots of Krelan Winery go back to 1991 when Yiannis Christoudias made his first attempts to make his own wine from grapes that he grew himself. His friends and relatives initially enjoyed the wine he produced. They encouraged him to begin production and by 1998 Mr. Christoudias invested in modern machinery and by 1999 his vision was beginning to be realized when he created Krelan Winery Ltd.
